Pharmaceutical uses

The product is mainly used as the disintegrating agent of tablets, pills, capsules. It has stronger swelling character by quick water absorption which can accelerate disintegrating of the tablets.

It’s also compressible to help shaping during tableting and increase hardness of the tablet without influence its disintegration.

The general dosage is 2 to 8 percent and the use-pattern is commonly to add from outside or add from both outside and inside.

It can also be used as suspension agent for oral liquid preparations.
